Parent Webinar: Helping your Teen Navigate Stress and Build Resilience in College Recruiting

This webinar is designed to help parents better understand and respond to the unique mental and emotional challenges that come with their teen’s college athletics recruiting process. This process puts high schoolers in the vulnerable position of being evaluated by coaches who have the power to say “yes” or “no” to an athlete’s imagined future. Since many talented athletes have found ways to be successful and take charge of their own sports career, this experience can bring up anxiety, shame, disappointment and insecurity. The purpose of the webinar is to help you support your child through the process in a way that builds their self worth, resilience and to stay connected to what really matters to them in their college decision.

Join us for a conversation of the pressures your teen may be facing and ideas for ways that you can support them in this exciting and challenging process.

Note: This webinar will not talk about how to get recruited. There will be no mention of timelines of recruitment or strategies to help get on the radar of colleges.

Can’t make it? Everyone registered will be emailed a link to view a recording of the webinar.
